Charter Mark

The Rent Service achieved the Charter Mark standard in July 2005. The Charter Mark assessor made the following comments about the organisation and it's application for the standard:

"The Rent Service is a customer-focused organisation that has an ethos of continuous improvement... This is a very strong application and I have no hesitation in recommending that The Rent Service be recognised as having achieved the Charter Mark standard".

Our standards of customer service will be reviewed each year by the Charter Mark assessor to ensure we maintain the momentum of providing a continuously improved service to our customers. Our achievements each year will contribute to the assessment and subsequent renewal of the Charter Mark standard, which is re-assessed on a three year basis.

We will continue to seek the assistance of Charter Mark co-ordinators throughout the Agency to monitor and collect evidence of continuous improvement to feed back into the review reports each year.
